Road Trips
Whether you’re a history buff, photography enthusiast or adrenaline seeker, road tripping through the Fraser Canyon is suitable for every explorer! The Trans-Canada Highway has less traffic and a lower elevation than other routes, but is an incredibly fun and scenic drive as you wind your way around cliffsides and through mountain tunnels. Plenty of restaurants, shops, and fun activities dot the route. Try your hand at gold panning in Yale, or visit Hell’s Gate to ride a tram suspended 1000 feet above the turbulent waters of the Fraser River. Learn about Indigenous Culture at Tuckkwiowhum Village, and go for a hike on one of many hiking trails.
